The Unsung Heroes Living History Project
Honoring African American Veterans — Past, Present & Future
The NAACP, C4 Lompoc, and community partners proudly present The Unsung Heroes Living History Project, now in its 25th year, coming to Lompoc.
This powerful multimedia exhibit preserves and shares the untold stories of African American veterans and their families through digital storytelling, photographs, historical documents, and personal artifacts. With deep ties to Lompoc, Vandenberg AFB/SFB, and Santa Barbara County, this project honors service, sacrifice, and legacy—while connecting generations through community storytelling.
